Following the earthquake of January 2010, MCC Haiti initiated 40 projects, working entirely with Haitian partner organizations to implement these relief efforts. New schools, improved housing, trauma healing and business and construction training mark MCC's ongoing earthquake response in Haiti.
This is a leadership development program for young adult constituents between the ages of 18-30 who are from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Churches and related organizations create and submit proposals to MCC about the kind of leadership engagement they foresee a young adult from their home church/community completing during a period of six to ten weeks from June-August.
Sewing kits provide basic tools to make and mend clothing. These tools will be used often and must be of good quality. People in such countries as Bosnia, Haiti, Liberia, Nicaragua, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine receive sewing kits from MCC.
This new MCC U.S. campaign provides educational materials, worship and advocacy resources focused on domestic violence, gun violence and U.S. militarism. Join us as we explore ways to seek peace in our homes, communities and world.
