 Haiti Earthquake Response

  After weeks of careful assessment and planning in Haiti, Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) has established priorities and plans that will guide its on-going response to the Haiti earthquake.

Haiti Efforts Closer to Home

Following the Haiti earthquake on Jan. 12th, the U.S. government offered Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to undocumented Haitians living in the U.S prior to the earthquake.

  Tiroso is a community within the town of Hinche, Haiti, two hours from the Haitian border with the Dominican Republic. The difference in the vegetation from the coast is already noticeable and the heat increases as one enters the mountains.
